PLEASE HELP

I inherited a L.G. Fullam & Sons ladder back chair from my grandmother, probably purchased new by her second husband. It is completely original, in perfect condition, has a woven cane (?) seat and has simple turned spindles. I don't know exactly what year it was made. Any notion of it" value and history?

Hi Dale,

L.G. Fullam & Sons operated from Ludlow, Vermont from 1889 to 1909 and sold tens of thousands of chairs in that time frame. Your chair probably sold for around $12 dollars brand new:

L.G. Fullam and Sons original receipt from 1908

L.G. Fullam & Sons Chair sold for $36 dollars

Your L.G. Fullam & Sons ladder back chair is worth around $150 dollars.

Thanks for sharing. You don't see many of these chairs around anymore!
