PLEASE HELP

I found this in an old barn that I am dismantling. I do not know the exact age of the barn or the piece. The barn was framed without nails, using pegs. The cabinet was made with tongue and groove and square head nails. It is about 4 feet tall by 4 feet wide by 15 or so inches deep. I have not taken exact measurements. At some point the back "feet" broke off and boards were added to the back to keep the piece level. It has a wonderful light yellow fading paint. I would like to know more about it, it's approximate age, style, use, and value. Thanks!
