PLEASE HELP
We picked this item up at a storage unit auction and knew it was special when we discovered each drawer was specifically marked to coincide with marks on the interior of the drawer slots. We found the maker badge on the interior of one of the drawers and it read - 'Brough Bros Cabinet Makers & Upholsterers London Rd - Liverpool Telephone No 2034 Royal'.
In our search on the internet we didn't find anything currently being sold and the only mention of Brough Bros was a chair found on worthpoint.com which sold several years back for approx. $120us.
The dressing table measures 42 1/2" wide x 19" deep x 60" tall and is inlaid on all drawer face edges as well as all top surface edges. The hardware appears to be all original and is only missing a small cap on the finial to the left of the mirror.
