PLEASE HELPFolding Anchor weights about 60#. Anchor is either solid brass or bronze. Anyone know the history of these anchor's? How old is it? And most important how much is it worth? Someone please help i can't find any information on the web and have no idea at the value or history of this anchor. Total lenght of anchor is 3'4" with of bottom of anchor is 2'4". Thanks jay... Hi Jay, I believe your antique 60lb folding boat anchor is worth between $200-500 dollars. I know that's a large range, but I'm not familiar enough with antique boat anchors to narrow it down more. However, there is definitely a market for these anchors and command premium prices. Hi Jay, Most of the large cast iron anchors bring between $150 to $200. If yours is solid brass or bronze you could get as high as $750, both of these metals contain copper. You might consider polishing it some and verify if it is brass. Hope this helps, |
