PLEASE HELP

Please Help! I have searched EVERYWHERE on the internet that I can think of to find other dolls like these, but to no avail! I showed these dolls to an antique dealer friend of mine and he gave me his best guess as to where these came from; and when. He thinks these were handmade dolls (since there are no markings on them of date of maker) from right after WWII. He thinks they were made by a mom or mom and kids in Occupied Germany to sell to the servicemen to make money to for food. I have 3 dolls (as you will see in the pictures). They appear to be a mother doll, daughter doll and a son doll. They all have read hats, have a sort of twine body (you will see from the pictures of the arms and legs), and heavy steel shoes. Their faces are aged and a bit dirty (the boy's face is the most soiled). They are also very small (from head to toe - not counting her hat, the mother doll is approx. 3 1/2 inches tall and about an inch wide). Any idea on the real origin/timeframe and selling price on these dolls? Thank you so much!
