I've never seen an antique nut cracker like yours? It looks to be a mold hand tool, kind of like a musket ball hand tool but in this case it looks like this mold makes walnuts. Place some silly putty in the tool and press out the shape and see what it makes, some sort of nut...
It appears hand forged and its probably worth $100-150 dollars. Very cool! Thanks for sharing. |
