PLEASE HELP

This rocking chair is sturdy and in good shape. No creaking or wobbling. Some slight separation in seams on the seat. A missing wood hole cover on one side of the back of the chair, wear on the stain and on the bottom rocker pieces. There is a tag under the seat that reads "The Ford & Johnson Company, Michigan City, Indiana. According to Wikipedia "In 1868 the company relocated their factory to Michigan City, Indiana. In 1872 the company moved their headquarters to Chicago where they opened a showroom at 302 Wabash Avenue. They became known as J. S. Ford, Johnson & Company." It seems that since the company changed its name and relocated, this chair should be dated to between 1868 to 1872.
