This is a red dish with gold trim around the edges. It has 5 sides, like a flower. Inside the edges are painted fans in gold. On the back it says, "made by hand in occupied Japan" Maruni patented lacquerware metal base. It also has " CPO " inside a diamond. It has a chip on the inside less than a quarter of an inch. It also has a little bump on the inside.
