PLEASE HELP

I have a very unique timepiece that I purchased at an auction sale over 30 years ago. I have never seen another like it and was wondering if you had any information on it and it's possible worth. The back cover says LANCEL, MADE IN FRANCE and it was mounted on what seemed to be a broken ceramic tile when I purchased it. The front of the clock has 3, 4 point pinwheels that have numbers on the pins as well as the numbers 0 to 60 and the word FRANCE on the face. The metal on the face is gold in colour and has intricate engraving of what appear to be 2 horn-o-plenty type pots with 2 flowers in each. The hand which indicates the hour number on it sweeps across the face of the timepiece pointing at the number which indicates the minute. This timepiece is in working condition and I have attached some pictures to help try and identify it. Would you be able to assist?

Beautiful clock! It is very unique, that's for sure.

I would estimate the value of your Lancel clock in the $500-600 dollar range.

Thanks for sharing.

Since putting this timepiece up for appraisal, I have been in contact with Lancel of France several times. The final verdict is that there is not one person in the company who is able to pull any records on where or when this came from. It is a complete mystery to them how this ever got out into the market. I am hoping that there must be an expert on timepieces somewhere out there that would recognize the style and workmanship who would be able to give me an appraisal or an offer on it.
